Position Summary
The Marketing & Communications Intern is responsible for learning and aiding in the integrated marketing and communications strategy for Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast. This position is responsible for aiding and supporting the disseminating of information about Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast and the programs and services they provide to food companies and agricultural businesses interested in exporting. Builds and maintains the visibility and image of the organizations. Maintains a positive work atmosphere by performing and communicating in a manner that gets along with members, clients, co-workers and supervisors. This position fully embodies the Mission and Vision by Simplifying Success, Enriching Exchange, and Realizing Resources. Position Duties/Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
Assists Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast staff with implementing, creating, designing, and analyzing Marketing and Communications activities (including social media content creation, flyer creation, website updating, press release reviewing/editing, data analytics, giveaway item tracking and inventorying, email marketing development and tracking, copyediting, design work).
