Leverage the expertise of our Guest Presenter

1:00 PM CDT / 2:00 PM EDT

In February 2025, the year-end export data is released and USDA’s Economic Research Service (ERS) publishes their “Outlook for U.S. Agricultural Trade” as well as “USDA Long-Term Projections”. Food Export summarizes that data and combines it with the latest “Economy, Trade & Finance” information from Euromonitor, export statistics from “GATS” the Global Agricultural Trade System, as well as other sources including the WTO, IMF and World Bank. The result is a current snapshot of where U.S. agricultural trade stands and what to expect in the future.

Topics will include:

  • Survey of factors of influence of current global economics
  • U.S. inflation and recession potential
  • The price of oil and strength of the U.S. dollar
  • Geopolitical tensions and war in Ukraine
  • Review of economic situation of key regions and markets
  • Overview of export data on key regions and markets
  • USDA’s Economic Research Service forecast for 2025 and long term to 2034
  • Q&A session with presenter
