In 2022, Best Breed, Inc. participated in Food Export-Midwest’s Branded Program to gain brand awareness in South Korea, Taiwan, and China. The Branded Program helped the Findlay, Ohio-based supplier grow these markets to projected seven-figure sales in the next 12 months while also gaining 3 new foreign buyer contacts and establishing 3 new distributorships.

Best Breed, Inc. is a producer of holistic pet food. The company was founded by a veterinarian and is family-owned and operated. Best Breed began after observing pet health conditions that were either nutritionally induced or could be helped through nutrition. Some of these conditions included digestive complications, mobility challenges, and skin issues. As pet lovers, all of us could improve our best friend’s health and happiness by simply changing their diet.

Ohio supplier, Best Breed, Inc., started using Food Export programs in 2011 participating in the Branded Program, Trade Leads, Online Product Catalog, and the U.S. FoodLink.

Food Export uses funding from the Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products. As these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
