Classic Cake’s customers include a diverse mix of wholesale, retail, and private label clients. From their signature cakes, cookies and desserts to their high production cheesecakes, their recipe and artisan touches create the extraordinary, blending only the best in taste with an unsurpassed level of detail and commitment to service.
In 2021, Classic Cake used Food Export-Northeast’s Market Access Program (MAP) funded Branded Program to increase brand awareness in South Korea. The Philadelphia supplier used their allocated program funds to attend international trade shows, make label/package modifications, send product samples to potential buyers, and to produce/distribute promotional literature which helped them gain $200,000 in sales and 3 new foreign buyer contacts. They also project to complete $500,000 in sales to the market over the next twelve months.
Participating in Food Export-Northeast programs and services since 2014 has helped Classic Cake grow and expand their exports. They have taken advantage of the Branded Program, attended Buyers Missions, Focused Trade Missions, and used Food Show PLUS!™ show services, all of which has helped the company gain new foreign buyer contacts, increase distributor relationships, and grow exports.
Food Export uses funding from the Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products. As these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
