Growing, One International Relationship at a Time

Karviva, certified women and minority-owned small business, is an innovative and award-winning natural food and beverage company based in Saint Louis, Missouri. They have found Food Export's programs to be pivotal in their export journey.

In 2022, Fulfill Food & Beverages, located in St. Louis, Missouri, participated in Food Export-Midwest’s Branded Program, allowing them to receive funding to help their company expand their product exports. While participating in this program, Fulfill Food & Beverages gained sales for their signature beverages from a few foreign countries including, France and Canada. They also have an optimistic projection of more sales within twelve months.

According to Angela Zeng, Owner of Fulfill Food & Beverages, “The 50% cost reimbursement is very helpful!” As a result, Fulfill Food and Beverage has gained a new export market and has increased brand awareness substantially, especially in Canada.

Fulfill Food & Beverage produces Karviva, whole plant wellness drinks in the beverage sector. Inspired by “Food is Better Medicine,” backed by nutritional science, and use eco-friendly wellness drinks to revitalize the body and enlighten the soul. The ingredients are organic, non-GMP, and gluten-free, and do not use synthetic vitamins or chemical additives. The results of their whole-plant philosophy are products that are rich in prebiotic fiber, protein, and minerals and other wide range of health benefits. Their main vision is “reconnecting people with the real root of good health.”

Fulfill Food & Beverage has taken part in Food Export programs since 2019, participating in the Branded Program, the Food Export Helpline, Online Product Catalog, U.S. Foodlink, Export Essentials, and numerous Buyers Missions, as well as Focused Trade Missions. In addition, Angela stated that they would continue to participate in events and the Branded Program for years to come!

Food Export uses funding from the Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products. As these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
