In 2022, Ginseng Up Corporation from Worcester, Massachusetts attended Food Export-Northeast’s annual Northeast Buyers Mission where they met with a buyer from Jamaica. With this new connection Ginseng Up made a sale of ginseng soda worth $60,000. The Massachusetts supplier also projects to complete $100,000 more in sales over the next twelve months.

In 1981, Ginseng Up set about crafting a soda packed with premium ginseng, in pursuit of bringing this beneficial root to many in a convenient way. Specializing in the finest Korean ginseng, they set about infusing ginseng with a high standard of quality ingredients combined with triple filtered water, all carefully packed into a single bottle. With the uncompromising standard in taste and quality, Ginseng Up original soda was born.

Ginseng Up has participated in Food Export programs since 2012. They have taken part in the Branded Program for six years and has attended numerous Buyers Missions and used Food Show PLUS! services for the past eleven years.

Food Export uses funding from the Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products. As these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
