In 2022, North Bay Produce participated in Food Export-Midwest’s Branded Program to gain brand awareness in Japan, Hong Kong, and Thailand. Using their allocated funds to attend foreign trade shows helped the Traverse City, Michigan-based supplier earn $125,000 in sales to Japan and Thailand. They also project to complete over $200,000 in sales in the next twelve months while gaining 50 new foreign buyer contacts.

Participating in Food Export-Midwest programs since 2014, such as the Branded Program, the Online Product Catalog, and attending Buyers Missions and Focused Trade Missions, North Bay Produce is committed to expanding its reach and offering its fresh fruits and vegetables to the world. These programs provide valuable opportunities to connect with international buyers and showcase their high-quality products. Food Export uses funding from the Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products. As these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy.
