New Jersey Exporter Increases Sales

by Food Export | Jul 09, 2018
Based in Phillipsburg, New Jersey, LD Distribution Services LLC is a global company that focuses on the distribution of a wide range of food, beverages and candy products to clients around the world. In 2016 LD Distribution began working with Food Export to expand and enhance their export markets.

Utilizing the Market Access Program (MAP) funded Branded Program in 2017 was a key factor for the New Jersey Supplier in increasing their exports to Egypt. With a distributor in place the company used their allocated funding to make label modifications to their candy products for the market which helped them earn sales of over $120,000 and project $200,000 more in sales over the next twelve months.

LD Distribution Services has also attended Food Export Buyers Missions, webinars and participates in the Online Product Catalog.

Food Export uses funding from the Market Access Program (MAP) to help America’s small businesses increase their exports of food and agricultural products. As these exports increase, these small businesses are creating jobs and improving the strength and stability of our agricultural economy. Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast are non-profit organizations that work in collaboration with their member state departments of agriculture and the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. They offer a wide range of programs and services that help boost America’s agricultural exports.
