Finding Repeating Success at Midwest Buyers Mission

by Food Export | Feb 06, 2019
In August of 2018, Grovara, from Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, attended Food Export – Midwest’s Midwest Buyers Mission in Chicago where they met with buyers representing Antigua, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, India, Indonesia, Japan, Mexico, Panama, Philippines, South Korea, Taiwan, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates. During these meetings Grovara introduced to buyers their beverage, snack and dairy related products.

The products were well received by the buyers at the mission and helped Grovara complete new export sales to Panama and Colombia for $30,000. These first-time market sales along with over $500,000 more in sales to the United Arab Emirates, Mexico, Kuwait and South Korea made the mission a very success event for the Pennsylvania Supplier.

The Midwest Buyers Mission was one of six Buyers Missions that Grovara participated in during 2018, and they have already registered for two more in 2019. The Pennsylvania Supplier has participated in Buyers Missions through Food Export since 2013 and has also been part of the Online Product Catalog, and the Branded Program.

Grovara is a producer of beverages, sweet and savory snacks and bars, and dairy and related products whose primary export markets are Hong Kong, China, and Kuwait.
