by Food Export | May 19, 2020
During 2019, Health Garden of NY Inc located in Union, New Jersey utilized funds from Food Export – Northeast’s Branded Program to market their products in Canada.

They did this by using their allocated funds to attend CHFA West in Vancouver during February of last year.

With the help from Branded Program funding, this February Health Garden of NY reported actual sales to Canada of $100,000, making 5 new foreign buyer contacts, 2 new agent relationships and projecting to complete $120,000 more in sales over the next twelve months.

Health Garden was founded over ten years ago when owner Joel Phillip decided to bring a little sweetness into the lives of people with diabetes and other chronic diseases related to sugar consumption. He developed the first line of all-natural, low-glycemic sweeteners and now the company offers a full line of non- GMO, gluten-free, kosher, low-glycemic sweeteners and condiments. Health Garden products are free of artificial chemicals and additives.

New in 2018 to participating in Food Export programs the New Jersey company is part of the Branded Program, has attended Buyers Missions, Focused Trade Missions, Food Show PLUS!™, webinars, and is part of the Online Product Catalog.
